Vertebral Artery Occlusion



This patient, suffering from longstanding
dizziness, had a noninvasive
CT angiogram of the brain which revealed the reason for the
symptoms: subtotal occlusion of the right vertebral artery, as
demonstrated in the pictures above. This vessel feeds the cerebellum,
which controls our balance.
