Abnormal Run-off
These pictures demonstrate significant atherosclerosis with calcifications of
the abdominal aorta. The iliac arteries are patent with aneurysmal
dilatation, particularly on the right side. More distally, the superficial
femoral artery shows a long segment of severe stenosis and subtotal occlusion,
requiring bypass surgery rather than angioplasty.
